Fantastic First Experience with Korean Cuisine! This was my first time trying Korean food, and as a vegetarian, I was quite skeptical. However, I decided to give it a shot and chose this place—and I’m so glad I did!The dishes were absolutely amazing. The kimchi fried rice and kimbap were beyond delicious—so flavorful that it’s hard to put into words how much I enjoyed them. I was thrilled to find vegetarian and vegan options with no meat or egg, making it a perfect choice for plant-based eaters like me.We also tried the tofu stew, which was decent, though it didn’t quite match the other dishes’ wow factor.Overall, a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back to explore more vegetarian-friendly options!

Food is delicious. Got a hot spicy pork belly bibimbop with mixed grains. Unbelievably yummy, although careful with the hot bowl! You also get soup and small dishes (like tofu) with the food.Service was great. They were quick, efficient, and considerate staff! The inside aesthetic is relaxing, my only complaint it the floor is SLIPPERY. Just the floor material makes it hard to grip in certain shoes (I do not recommend heels here!)Overall amazing spot!

Haven’t been to this place for a long time. They renovated the entire restaurant and seating spaces are not crowded as before. Food quality is good and I love they always have variety of vegetables in the sushi roll and also buckwheat noodle salad. They provide variety of side dishes too. Good service and friendly staff too :) The special multi grain drink is also a traditional Korean drink which I do not find in other restaurant.

Bowl'd has several locations in the Bay Area, my wife and I used to go to Alameda location and the Oakland Location a lot before it closed. We've found their food to be pretty good. While the past few years we have mainly gotten take-out/Doordash, more recently we went in person and it didn't disappoint. We usually get the glazed potatoes and the beef short ribs (gal-bi), both came out hot/smoking off the grill/stove and were really good. That time we also had a spicy ramen which was good for sharing. While takeout/Doordash gets the job done, some of these items are much better dining in and when they're fresh off the stove.
